Objective:

 

This course will equip the learner with the measurement techniques, requirements and pitfalls of control items within an electrostatic discharge protected area (EPA). The emphasis is on how to apply ANSI/ESD TR53 compliance verification, test procedures and troubleshooting guidance for ESD protective equipment and materials.

 

Learning Outcome:

In this course, the learner will learn to apply compliance verification & troubleshooting of the following EPA control items:

 

Grounding I Bonding Systems, Work surfaces, Wrist Straps, Footwear, Flooring, Seating, Air Ionizers, Mobile Equipment, Electrical Soldering/Desoldering Hand Tools, Constant (Continuous) Monitors, Garments, Packaging, Gloves and Finger Cots and Process Required Insulators

This 2-day course is targeted at program manager, engineers & technicians working within EPAs and applying the compliance verification of a factory ESD program plan.
