Objective:

This course will equip the learner with the skills to apply ESD TR53 compliance verification within an electrostatic discharge protected area (EPA) with ESD sensitive devices (ESDS), inclusive of PCBA assembly and systems. The learner will be introduced to ANSI/ESD S20.20-2014 product qualification vs compliance verification within an EPA to protect ESDS & PCBA. This course prepares the learner to apply techniques of compliance verification for EPA control items, instruments & setup, interpret measurement readings and troubleshooting, as per ESD TR53.
 
Learning Outcome:
 
In the course, the learner will
1) Understand and apply ANSI / ESD S20.20-2014 and ESD TR53 for electrostatic discharge sensitive printed circuit board (PCBA) assembly systems and manufacturing.

2) Distinguish ANSI / ESD S20.20-2014 product qualification and compliance verification, and considering the degradation of the ESD materials.

3) Apply ESD TR53 compliance verification within EPA.

This is a 2-day course targeted at personnel who works within EPA to apply and troubleshoot compliance verification of technical elements, which protect ESDS, PCBA assembly and systems. It is also targeted at managers and engineers who perform ESD TR53 Compliance Verification, as per ANSI/ESD S20.20 ESD Control Program.
